A BIT ABOUT US

FTR was first founded as a student organization at The College of William & Mary by a group of five ambitious college students in 2019. Here we recognize that healthcare is not a privilege. It is a human right. Our mission is to supply relief from medical debt to ensure that patients have the opportunity to focus on the one thing that truly matters: their health and recovery.

By formulating partnerships with various organizations, hosting fundraisers, and raising awareness on the healthcare epidemic, our team continues to make progress on providing people with the care they deserve.

JULIANA CANTARUTTI

President & Founder

Juliana is a William & Mary graduate ('22) with a B.S. in  Neuroscience & Biochemistry. She’s currently pursuing an M.D. at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, continuing to integrate FTR as a resource for uninsured and underinsured patients within and around her surrounding med school community.

She started FTR following  personal and clinical experiences with patients whose recovery was hindered by inaccessible healthcare. Six years later, Juliana, Kiara, and Emma continue to work together to grow FTR on a national scale to reduce the burden of medical debt across the country!
