A BIT ABOUT US
FTR was first founded as a student organization at The College of William & Mary by a group of five ambitious college students in 2019. Here we recognize that healthcare is not a privilege. It is a human right. Our mission is to supply relief from medical debt to ensure that patients have the opportunity to focus on the one thing that truly matters: their health and recovery.
By formulating partnerships with various organizations, hosting fundraisers, and raising awareness on the healthcare epidemic, our team continues to make progress on providing people with the care they deserve.
President & Founder
Jules is a William & Mary graduate ('22) on the pre-med track with a B.S. in Neuroscience & Biochemistry. The inspiration for FTR bloomed from her personal and clinical experiences with patients whose recovery was hindered by unaffordable healthcare. With an amazing team at her side, Jules strives to implement her knowledge on marginalization in the healthcare system to incite change.
Vice President of Outreach
Kiara is a William & Mary graduate ('22) with a B.S. in Kinesiology & minor in Psychology on a pre-Physican Assistant track. Born and raised in Peru for the first 10 years of her life, Kiara has seen and experienced the depth of suffering endured by a family when they cannot afford medical treatment. Kiara has dedicated herself as a member of the FTR with the hope and promise of touching the lives of many.
